Since the beginning of the year, biologists in Mexico have discovered a total of 9 green crocodiles in the Sumidero gorge that flows through the Grijalva river.
These nine crocodiles have dark eyes and light green, while the common crocodiles of this type are yellow, white belly, yellow tongue and eyes.
Through research, the scientists concluded that the color change of crocodiles is highly related to water pollution, ecological environment and food sources. But what surprised the scientists is that the green crocodiles are much more benign than the other colored ones.
