The US Aerospace Administration (NASA) has just built a website where visitors will be able to participate in an interesting game called "Be A Martian" to temporarily translate "Being a Martian citizen".

According to the BBC, since the 1960s, Mars probe spacecraft has sent to the world a huge amount of images that scientists can hardly study. Therefore, the website Be A Martian was born with the hope that people are interested in playing as an online game, while studying and helping NASA better understand Mars.

Scientific tools on the website can help players use images that NASA provides to review and organize into complete maps of the planet.

Another game allows users to count collisions between meteorites and Mars to create very large craters, thereby better understanding the relationship to the age of rocks on the surface of the red planet. NASA hopes that the combination of real data and online games will appeal to astronomers for the future.

Website is supported by Microsoft, especially on Silverlight application platform.
