This is the result of a survey by Professor Nguyen Xuan Dong, Institute of Tropical Biology and colleagues in the research project 'Survey and build a database on fish fauna in inland waters of HCMC. HCM ' was checked and accepted in the morning of April 12 at Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Investment. The project was implemented within 2 years (from December 2009 to December 2011) with a budget of 450 million VND issued by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology.

However, the Acceptance Council stated that the research team has not yet released the biological characteristics of fish species, the risk and development direction of each specific species.
