Archaeologists say they have never seen a similar specimen before. Most likely, they are decorations on a priest 's outfit . These wires are about 3 cm long, made of thin gold.

" Maybe these spiral strands are attached to hats or hats , " Kaul said, " they could also be used to tie hair or sew on clothes." "The fact that we are not sure, but I believe they are used by the owner in formal attire or headgear."

Initially, they found only a few spiral gold wires , but then excavated another 200-300 g of specimens. Many golden strands were buried together in a large tuft in a fur-lined wooden box while small packages, containing three or four objects discovered a few meters away.

Researchers say a box like this could be the type used to hold a golden head hat. They were not surprised to find such golden objects from such precious Bronze Age in Boeslunde, because the area was the most discoverable area of northern Europe.

Someone had previously found six big and heavy rings , used in the oath and some rituals. In 1800, farmers in the area also found six gold jars weighing 1 kilogram, in Borgbjerg Banke, about 500 meters from the ring.

" The Bronze Age people chose this place to donate gold to the gods, which shows that this area has a special place for them, " commented Christensen.

Kaul believed that Boeslunde was once a sacred land , where the ancient people performed rituals and offered gold to the gods. He thought that both the golden scroll and the vow were part of a celebrant. Maybe he wore rings on his wrists and twisted gold strands attached to costumes and hats, so they sparkled in the sun during the ceremony.

The Sun is one of the most sacred symbols of the time. Gold is highly respected and sometimes expressed for the Sun. It is a golden color, shining like the Sun and an eternal, indestructible thing.

"That's why people sacrifice the priest's wealth for the Sun, or want to hide his wealth in a wooden box ," Kaul explained. He and other archaeologists believe that the Boeslunde region also contains many treasures from prehistoric times and they will continue to use metal detectors in the future.
