Discovering God's bath

Australian scientists have discovered a crystal clear lake, never affected by climate change and any human impact.

This particular lake is currently named Blue Lake . It is one of the largest lakes on North Stradbroke Island, off the southern state of Queensland, Australia.

The AAP news agency quoted Dr. Cameron Barr as saying: "The beautiful Blue Lake. It's like the bath of God . "

Mr. Barr and his colleagues from the University of Adelaide said, the water is so clear that you can see the bottom of the lake, which is under 9 meters deep.

"It seems that the Blue Lake is a" place to escape "an important climate change of the freshwater system in the area, and Lake remains the same as it was 7,500 years ago," Dr. Barr said. The researcher said, Blue Lake is the only lake of this type ever discovered in Australia.

To make these conclusions, the team carefully examined the quality of lake water, fossils of pollen and algae, and compared them to photographs of the surrounding areas on the island for more than 117 years.

They found that many other lakes nearby have dried up in the last 40 years due to climate change. However, the water in the Blue Lake remains unchanged because the lake water drains a nearby swamp and is replaced by a submerged floor every 35 days.

Mr. Barr explained that due to continuous drainage and compensation for natural water, Green Lake does not suffer from the effects of climate change . The lake water will not evaporate and become saltier.

In addition, the condition of the lake is still intact because there is no trace of human impact. According to the researchers, even small things like a little bit of visitors' sunscreen can change the chemistry of the lake.
