According to the Daily Mail on February 21, Mr. Miguel Guzman, from Villa Carlos Paz, near Cordoba City - Argentina, bought Capitan as a gift for his 13-year-old son Damian in 2005.

After Mr. Guzman died, the dog also disappeared and Guzman's family thought it had found a new home or died somewhere.

However, a few months later, during a visit to the cemetery in 2007, Mr. Guzman's family suddenly met Capitan. Workers at the cemetery said they started raising the animal since they saw it sleeping next to a grave every night.

The daily newspaper La Voz reported that Capitan was still sitting next to the master's grave every night until he died a few days ago. At that time, Capitan was 15 years old and spent 11 years at the tomb.

Surprisingly, the cemetery is a long way from Mr. Guzman's house and Capitan has never been with them here.

Six years ago, Mrs. Veronica, Guzman's wife, shared with Cordoba: "We searched for the dog but it disappeared . Soon after, we went to the cemetery and saw it. Capitan approached. we, barking as if it's crying . I don't think it wants to leave Miguel at night ".

The cemetery director where Mr. Guzman was buried, Hector Baccega, said: "One day the dog came here and started wandering around the cemetery until he found the master's grave."

"During the day, it sometimes walks around the cemetery but always returns to the grave. At 6 am every morning, it is found on the grave, seemingly there all night."

Damian said he tried to take Capitan home several times but the dog still returned to the cemetery."I think he will be there until he dies. He wants to take care of my father," Damian said.
