In a statement, Egyptian Minister of Ancient Mohammed Ibrahim said one of the tombs containing the mummy remains intact of a famous Pharaoh writer, and burial items like bamboo pens and an ink pot. copper. It is worth noting that the researchers also found some fish marinated in the grave. This is the first time archaeologists have found fish marinated inside an ancient tomb. In ancient Egypt, people often marinated fish in large numbers as offerings to the gods. However, the researchers believe that the number of marinated fish placed in the tomb is for food for the deceased in the afterlife.
The second tomb of a high-ranking clergyman headed a family with many members dedicated to religious ceremonies at Temple Osirion. This temple was discovered earlier this year and is located only 2km west of the grave. Besides the mummy of the deceased, the grave also contains a large collection of stone casket in which some have broken, jars of plaster decorated with pictograms containing organs of embalmed people , a collection of bronze coins belonging to the 26th dynasty and bronze statues of Pluto.
According to Minister Mohammed Ibrahim, the two grave sites are located in an area with many works of Greek, Roman, Copt and Muslim history. It is expected that this newly discovered relic will soon be renovated to map the tourist attractions.
