This may be a revolution for data recording when the e-paper called i2R e-Paper is launched. This paper is very environmentally friendly because it does not use electricity like current e-books.
i2R e-Paper is a product of scientists at Taiwan Industrial Research Institute. It does not use a backlight, so it does not need a battery, just the heat absorbed from the environment to display a monochrome screen with a resolution of 300 dpi. I2R e-Paper can be easily erased, inserted and reusable 260 times. The price of an A4 paper i2R e-Paper is $ 2 and it will be available in 1-2 years.
Scientists believe that i2R e-Paper will be widely used to save a lot of paper and plants as a raw material for paper production. (According to TechCrunch)
