Farmers turn solar energy into electricity
Farmers Nguyen Van Ne, living in Tan Thuan hamlet, Ta Danh commune (Tri Ton, An Giang) have turned solar energy into living electricity. Mr. Ne said that through search, in July 2005, he bought two glass panels (0.6x1m / sheet), then assembled and attached to the iron frame.
Underneath the glass is a solar transducer and relay unit consisting of two black rubber pieces, the wire is connected from the rubber that leads down to the indoor 12V-100ampe battery. From this current (one way) through a transformer, it turns into an alternating current (AC) of 220V.
This system emits an electric light that illuminates a 6-inch light bulb, two color TVs (9 inches), two light bulbs (3 inches), blower ., very convenient for deep rural areas without electricity.
