'It was very dark at the time and I could only see them when shining the flashlight,' said the 37-year-old fisherman. 'Crocodiles appear on both sides of the canal and the number can be up to 100'.
But Tayebbi said he was not afraid and considered it completely natural: 'If you like fishing, you accept risks, especially in remote areas like this'.
Shady Camp is one of the places with the highest density of crocodiles in the world and it has seen many crocodile attacks on fishermen.
In 2014, 62-year-old Bill Scott was pulled from a boat by a giant crocodile nearly 5m long while fishing at Shady Camp.
