For the first time detected foreign clouds of the Solar System

Scientists on August 26 announced they may have found the first water clouds outside the Solar System.

Accordingly, water clouds are found on WISE J0855-0714 - a brown dwarf (a giant gas but not a star) located only 7.3 light years from Earth.

Scientists say WISE J0855-0714 is 10 times larger than Jupiter, the coldest brown dwarf ever found, with temperatures of -48 and -13 degrees Celsius, colder than Earth but warmer than Jupiter. .

If this finding is true, this will be an important step in finding life-like planets like our Earth in the future, according to the Daily Mail.

Discovered by the team of Dr. Jacqueline Faherty of the Carnegie Institute of Science in Washington DC (USA). Dr. Faherty said he used the 6.5m Magellan Baade telescope in Chile to get 151 near-infrared images, then combine them to study and come to the discovery."I'm absolutely excited," she said. Previously, water vapor was discovered in extrasolar planets, but this is the first time that water clouds have been found. Even in our Solar System, water clouds are known only on Earth and Mars.
