The way "The Mountain of the Holy Spirit" of the local Maasai (Tanzania), the researchers have discovered: many human footprints dating from 5,000 to 19,000 years ago.
Mud mark at the volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai.
There are 400 human footprints in the area of about 192sq.m, an area of tennis courts, on the hard mud layer in Engare Sero, south of Natron Lake in Tanzania. No other place in Africa has the modern footprint of Homo sapiens, so this is an important clue for scientists to patch up human history pieces.
There are up to 400 human footprints in the area about 192m2 wide.
Through analysis, we can see the group of children and women walking through here, towards the southern land. One of them seems to have a big toe.
Monuments at Engare Sero contribute to the collection of solid footprints despite the time. Previously it was discovered 700 fossil footprints dating back 20,000 years. Also in Tanzania, only a few dozen kilometers from Engare Sero are human predecessors, Australopithecus afarensis has been there for 3.6 million years.

However, the footprint in Engare Sero attracts the scientific community for its variety and complexity, according to anthropologist William Harcourt-Smith from New York University, the area is like a "dance floor" : "I I have never seen so many footprints.
Engare Sero is located next to the volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai next to Lake Natron, once the ancestral place of the ancestors of Maasai, to pray for a peaceful wind. The mud from the mountain fell down into mudflats. Perhaps for a few days, the mud was dry, and the lava and ash had covered it for over 10,000 years.
Footprints in Engare Sero attract the scientific community for its diversity and complexity.
Initially, the neighboring village discovered footprints in 2006, but by 2008 scientist Jim Brett. Doubtful, Brett called his colleague Liutkus-Pierce. Liutkus-Pierce didn't believe his eyes. According to her, if the analysis of geography and climate is very likely the footprints have existed for 120,000 years, but most scientists are arguing about this.
Now the team continues to analyze and obtained initial information that the group consists of about 20 people who are migrating together. They are calling for more help from advanced centers and reconstructing 3D models.
