Tahnie Salter from Moura City, Queensland, Australia brought his four children to the Agnes Water area to rest. Here, hyperactive children found a frog that surprised their parents.
The green frog is "terrific" in adult hands.
Tahnie tells the frog to jump onto the sand castle that the children are building and the frog's huge size makes the children out of their hearts. The children of Tahnie excitedly took a picture of the bulky green frog, even putting it on his father's hand to compare the size. The frog is bigger than an adult's hand.
In Gladstone Observer, Tahnie said: "We were surprised to see the frog so big. The children took pictures and talked about it for the next few days . " My children call the frog "" Green giant "".
Native Australian frogs can range from 11 to 14cm long and females are usually larger than males. Biologists look at the photo and guess that this is an old female frog.
The Agnes Water conditions are very suitable for frogs to grow because there are no frog predators. Some green frogs even live up to 40 years.
