The fossil bones of the tiny dinosaur Kakuru kujani were found in a remote area of South Australia in sediments dating back to about 110 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.
Kakuru kujani is a fairly small carnivorous dinosaur, a fossil expert at the South Australian Museum said.
The image is said to be a Kakuru kujani dinosaur.
"These are the only bones of this dinosaur found. It is about the size of a turkey. This may be attractive to Jurassic Park series fans, but the truth is most. dinosaurs are all petty animals , 'said Ben McHenry, director in charge of managing the high-class collection of the Earth Science Museum.
Earlier, one toe of Kakuru kujani dinosaurs was dug up in Andamooka, South Australia in the early 1970s.
Neville Pledge later discovered the toe bone of this 'tiny' dinosaur in 1973 in an Opal stone store in Hindley Street.
Mr. Pledge said he was very lucky to be able to take photos, measure and create some plaster molds of the toe bones - but the fossils were missing.
"Unfortunately, it disappeared for 45 years before it was discovered sold recently," Pledge said.
In the near future, Kakuru kujani's fossil toe bones will be on display at the fossil gallery of the South Australian Museum.
