People in a village in China have caught strange fish in a lake in a rocky cave with a depth of 1,000m.
The leaves are captured in Daluo village, Bama district, Guangxi province south of China. Fisheries experts have not been able to identify this fish. The shape of a fish has a long mouth like a speculum, a lip and a long body, eyes close to the mouth.
The head of the village, Li Zuneng, said he had been told by the oldest people about the fish. However, no one has been seen yet and they still consider it a legend.
These fish are named Fu Yuan Dong, which means "treasure of the cave".
Villagers asked the Guangxi authorities to check but no expert knew about the fish. There have been rumors about fish and some people think that this could be alien fish.
It is known that the majority of people here have a relatively high life expectancy and experts think it may be due to water sources. According to the 2000 census, the village of Daluo has a population of 238,000 and 74 people live up to 100 years old.
