Ha Tinh: Discovering ancient bronze seals in the Le Dynasty

On June 5, Mr. Le Ba Hanh, Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Museum said that the Hoang family church (Van Hai, Co Dam, Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh villages) is currently holding a bronze ancient seal from the time of Le An. same precious.

Talking to VietNamNet , Mr. Hanh said, this seal is 10cm x 7cm in size, 1.3cm thick, weighing 1kg. The seal, though burnt and partially eroded, still retains the outline of the embossed inscriptions on the front.

According to Mr. Hoang Mao, the patriarch of the Hoang family, this seal has been kept by his family since many generations. Mr. Mao said that the seal was related to a general named Hoang Xuan (1705-1779), who lived in Van Hai village, Co Dam district, belonging to Nghi Xuan district, working under the reign of King Le Hien Tong (1717-1786). . Mr. Hoang Xuan established many victories and was appointed Commander of the General Army.

Mr. Hanh said that in addition to the above precious bronze seal, the Hoang family also kept a lot of ancient artifacts in the post-Le era such as bronze in the bronze, copper plates, cloth flags .

Previously in 2009, the Museum of Ha Tinh province also discovered the ancient bronze seal during Tay Son period (1798 - 1802) at the family of Mr. Dau Dinh Van (Kha Law, Cam Hung, Cam Xuyen villages).

This seal has a weight of 600g, size 10cm x 7cm, thickness of 1.3cm, the surface after pressing has 2 lines of Chinese characters that are symmetrical with each other, surrounding the main surface of the seal with 1cm embossed border frame, in which engraved 9 letters made up of 3 lines, each of 3 words according to the word "Seal".
