Hurricane Koppu turned to the north

Central Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting said that at 07:00 on October 17, the location of the storm center is about 15.8 degrees Vi Bac; 124.5 degrees east longitude, about 270km from the island of Lu Dong (Philippines) to the east. The strongest wind in the area near the storm center is strong at level 14 (ie from 150 to 165km per hour), jerking on level 17.
