Hyperloop One proposed opening a route in the UK, turning science fiction into reality

Hyperloop One - supported by Tesla boss Elon Musk - proposed a trip to London to Edinburgh (more than 666km) within 50 minutes.

According to the Telegraph, the first three pipelines are being considered for Hyperloop in Europe. Inside the low-pressure pipeline, the vehicle emitted by the air cushion created by the compressor helps reduce friction.

The services from London to Edinburgh, Liverpool to Glasgow and Cardiff to Glasgow have all been selected by Hyperloop One, one of the few companies competing to make this technology a reality.

Hyperloop technology can perform a trip totaling 414 miles (666km) from London to Edinburgh in 50 minutes. If traveling by plane, you must take 1 hour 20 minutes and 7 hours if you use a car.

Hyperloop One and an advisory group are also considering six other routes across Europe.

Hyperloop One designed low pressure pipelines to help transport vehicles running at nearly 700 miles per hour (1126 km / hour). Goods and passengers will be loaded into high-speed trains and transported by pipes.

The company said it will have more than 500 employees working in the technology sector to offer the most optimal solution for journeys by the end of 2017.

Recently, they completed the construction of the first Hyperloop test line in the Nevada desert (USA). But it is only 500 meters long, which is too short compared to the ambitious routes in Europe. The test tunnel is expected to be tested later this year.

Josh Giegel, co-founder of Hyperloop One said: "We look forward to introducing our technology and believe that Europe is the perfect land for one of the first Hyperloop systems in the world".

Hyperloop is the brainchild of Tesla billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk - who started a competition to develop this technology in 2015. Eleven projects are being considered in the US, the The next project is also being considered in the United Arab Emirates, India and Central Europe.

Hyperloop One has chosen 9 routes in Europe for new shipping technology, including:

  1. Corsica-Sardinia, 450km.
  2. Estonia-Finland, 90km.
  3. Germany, 1237km.
  4. Poland, 415km.
