Ideal sleep time for different ages
An old question like the earth: "How much time do I need to sleep every day?". The National Sleep Research Association (NSF) and a group of 18 leading scientists have evaluated more than 300 sleep studies so far to try to offer the ideal sleep time for groups. Different age.

- Preschoolers (3-5): 10-13 hours per day.
- Children of school age (6-13): 9-11 hours per day.
- Teenagers (14-17): 8-10 hours a day.
- Youth (18-25): 7-9 hours per day.
- Adults (26-64): 7-9 hours per day.
- Older people (65 years and older): 7-8 hours a day.
For adults, the recommended sleep time does not change compared to the long-standing advice. However, the noticeable point in this category is that teenagers and school-age children should sleep much more than adults.
