The PSLV rocket has in turn pushed all satellites into orbit after being launched on 9h20 am April 28, 2008 in favorable weather conditions, from the Sriharikota space center in southern India.
According to the Indian Space Research Agency, India's first PSLV remote-sensing satellite separation and repulsion missile, Cartosat-2A, contains high-resolution cameras and other advanced scientific devices, into orbit. It then continued to split and put a 83kg mini Indian satellite produced and an 8-satellite cluster called nanosatellite, weighing between 3-16kg. These 8 satellites are built by European, Canadian and Japanese research institutes.
'Mission is perfect,' said G. Madhavan Nair, president of Bangalore-based Indian Space Research Agency, after the launch of the live broadcast.
'This is our historic moment, because for the first time we launched 10 satellites at the same time,' he said, and congratulated Indian scientists who broke the record for launching 8 Russian satellites.

India developed its aerospace program 45 years ago. Now the country wants to compete with the US, Russia, China, Ukraine and the European Space Agency in the commercial satellite launch service market.
For the first time, the country launched a commercial satellite launch in April last year. At that time, they launched an Italian spacecraft. And in January, they also launched a spy satellite for Israel into space.
India successfully launched its satellite for the first time with a missile designed by itself in 1980. At that time, they were not aimed at commercial purposes, but only for communication needs. and domestic television. According to Indian officials, the main satellite Cartosat-2A launched this morning was brought to an altitude of 630km from Earth. It has both brought about domestic economic benefits and used to collect intelligence.
