The above seven volcanoes belong to Mount Papandayan in West Java, Karangetang and Lokon in North Suilawesi, Ijen in East Java, Gamalama in Northern Maluku, Anak Krakatau in Lampung and Lewotolo in East East Nusa Tenggara.

NADM is currently closely monitoring all of these volcanoes and preparing mitigation measures in accordance with the specific situation of the surrounding environment and the characteristics of each volcano, including evacuation plans. people, prepare refugees, provide logistics, machinery and set up volunteer groups.

Earlier on January 6, the Lokon volcano erupted ashes of 1,500 meters high, but cooled down after a few days. In Northern Maluku, 296 people still live in refugee camps since the Gamalama volcano here erupted in early December 2011.
