Members of the Chorlton fishing club in Machester say Big Scale - the name of the fish - is Lake Chorlton's pride. Every year fishermen catch it at least twice. Every time they caught Big Scale, they would treat it again, take pictures and drop it into the lake. For many years the fish was released four times. The habits of fishermen have taken place over the past 30 years. The weight of the fish has reached 13.5 kg.
Simon Dale, president of the local fishing club, said: "We consider Big Scale to be an unofficial member of the club. Whenever it is arrested, it is never easy to surrender. Later 30 years of existence in the world, it is now wiser and rarely tricked ".
Big Scale is just one of the carp that weighs more than 9 kg in the lake. The big runner in weight belonged to the Big Mac - a carp weighing 13.1 kg. Dozens of others weigh 12 kg.
