Over the past years, the tablet has grown tremendously, but another name to be reminded for much of the future is smart wears like smart watches and smart glasses.
Most recently, market research firm Juniper Research has forecast that smartphone wear shipments will reach 130 million units in 2018, 10 times this year.
Juniper analyst Nitin Bhas said that market conditions will gradually change as consumers increase awareness of smart wear technology, while manufacturers are increasingly improving their products.
Bhas added that in order to create a new trend, manufacturers need to focus on creating a viable platform to attract the attention of application developers.
