Israel found the 700-year-old strange grenade

According to Epoch Times, the Israeli Antiquities Administration recently announced that it has recovered some rare artifacts, including an estimated 700-year-old grenade.

In a press release, the agency said a family had come and handed them the artifacts left by their late father. The father worked at a power plant and collected the artifacts from the sea.

One of the artifacts is a hand-made grenade with clay material, very elaborately decorated, and dated to about 700 years old.

According to an archaeologist, this weapon may have been used during the time of the Eastern Roman Empire, early Islamic period, and the Ottoman Empire.

Other items submitted include a 3,500-year-old knife, a 11th century mortar and mortar.

These antiques are believed to have fallen into the sea from a merchant's ship.
