A reporter in Tel Aviv reports that scientists at Israel's Sheba Medical Center have invented a blood test method that does not require a needle to draw blood as usual.

According to the team, this will be the world's first sample-free blood test. Instead, nurses only need to use a device that scans the patient's eyes in seconds and gives accurate results immediately.

Current blood testing methods require a syringe to extract a certain amount of blood from the arm or finger of the person to be tested, and then bring the blood sample into a laboratory to measure the levels of certain components in the blood or Count different types of blood cells.

The Times of Israel quoted Harel Baris, one of the members of the research team, as saying that with this device, patients do not have to go to the hospital to get blood for testing, but just sit at home and then send the results. results in the form of information for the physician. This not only saves time and effort, but also makes the patient's treatment process easier.

In the near future, the research team will bring this device to the space station to experiment in a zero-gravity environment, thereby speeding up the process of perfecting the new device.
