Japan suffers from a strong earthquake

The report said the epicenter of the earthquake on the Japanese capital of Tokyo is about 282km to the northeast. Earlier, on Saturday afternoon (July 23), a 6.4-magnitude strong earthquake struck the same area off the east coast of Honshu island.

There have been no reports of casualties or losses from both incidents. No tsunami warning was given.

Official statistics show that about 23,000 people died or were still missing throughout the northeastern coast of Japan after the earthquake, accompanied by a tsunami on March 11.
