Lightning appears with the rainbow

The simultaneous presence of rainbows and lightning creates a fascinating sight in China.

The scene in the picture above occurred in the sky of Haikou City, Hainan Island, China, Mirror said.

Lightning is the phenomenon of atmospheric discharges between clouds and soil or between clouds with opposite charges. Sometimes lightning forms in sandstorms or when volcanoes erupt. In the lightning atmosphere it can travel at speeds of up to 36,000 km / h and reach a temperature of 30,000 degrees C.

Meanwhile, rainbows appear due to the light from the sun refracting and reflected through droplets in the air. The colors of the rainbow are in the order of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Depending on the number of reflections of light, the scientific community divides them into first, two, three, and four rainbow.

Because only one reflex is used, the first rainbow has the greatest brightness. Thus people often see first-class rainbow. Sometimes we see a quadratic rainbow. The color order of the quadratic rainbow reverses compared to the first rainbow and the weaker light intensity. The photographers also captured the third and fourth grade rainbow.
