Because of such a modest height, Jyoti had to put his own clothes and jewelry. She sleeps on a small bed and uses special dishes, because ordinary sized items become too big for her.

However, Jyoti is not inferior."I am proud because I am small. I like the attention people give me. I am not afraid of being small and not regreting this. I am like everyone else. I eat and dream like I don't feel anything else, " Jyoti said.

Jyoti still goes to school regularly at Nagpur, central India, where she has a separate table and chair, and her classmates treat her like any other student. Jyoti also shared common interests with other young women, and also enjoyed DVD movies and fashionable dresses.

In addition, Jyoti also has ambition and wishes one day to become an Bollywood actress."I love working in a big city like Mumbai, filming and traveling in London and in the US."

Jyoti is treated like a celebrity in her hometown, where many people come together to meet her and some even consider her a goddess. Jyoti's mother, Ranjana Amge, 45, said: "When Jyoti was born, she looked very normal. We knew she had a cartilage development disorder when she was 5 years old."
