The Memorandum of Understanding is an initial cooperation between the two countries in developing and implementing low emissions development in Vietnam, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from energy, agriculture, land and forestry - sectors is contributing strongly to economic development. The two countries will identify needs and implement capacity building in economic information management for low carbon analysis. Experts from the two countries will develop a plan to review the current national greenhouse gas inventory and inventory management system, as well as contribute to the design of the national system of home gas inventory. glasses.

Experts will use advanced models to evaluate different policy options, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while still optimizing production processes in agriculture and forestry.

Through policy dialogue with donors and Vietnam needs assessment, activities will strengthen the capacity of Vietnamese experts and policy makers to use advanced models to identify policies and activities to use energy efficiently and produce recycled energy.
