Method to use hot steam to cure bone cancer

Bone cancer can be treated with hot steam.

This is a statement by Dr. Gerardo Rico Martínez, Head of the Bone Cancer Treatment Department of the Mexican National Rehabilitation Institute (INR).

Speaking to reporters on January 22, Dr. Martínez said that the group of scientists has succeeded in applying new bone cancer treatments.

Accordingly, doctors put hot steam directly into the diseased bone and used the heat of steam to burn cancer cells.

According to Dr. Martínez, this principle of treatment is based on research showing that cancer cells lose their ability to regulate heat.

Also according to the team, this treatment can be applied directly to small areas of the disease, which can be observed and located with the naked eye.

For the deep bones in the patient's body, the doctor will need to determine the area of ​​the bone that is sick before putting the heat in for about 15 minutes.

For cases of severe disease development, patients need chemotherapy before applying the technique.

Treatments for bone cancer have been tested since 1990 and are recognized by the Mexican Federal Ministry of Health. Since then, this method has been used effectively for about 200 patients and will soon be replicated nationwide.

In addition to Mexico, doctors in Japan also use similar therapies to treat bone cancer but replace steam with liquid nitrogen to cool the disease and kill cancer cells.
