The new approach provides important benefits based on cellular therapies. This method exploits the ability of tissue regeneration thanks to the external follicles containing nanoparticles created during bone formation to support and regenerate damaged tissue.

Dr. Owen Davies, of the University of Birmingham, said: "This is an early discovery, but it is potential in that we have a new way of approaching tissue repair. We are also looking to create new biological particles are therapeutically valuable and test the ability of these particles to regenerate other tissues in the body ".
