Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk asked Ukraine's Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn to explain when the problem at Zaporizhye factory was resolved and further troubleshooting steps to restore normal power supply throughout. country.

The incident occurred at the No. 3 block of a 1,000-megawatt reactor at Zaporizhye plant causing electricity shortages on the national electricity grid. The cause of the incident is unknown.

It is expected that Block 3 will fix the problem and put it into operation on December 5.
