Operate CO2 capture and storage plant

Canada's SaskPower Power Company held the inauguration of the world's first large-scale pilot project to recover and store carbon dioxide (CO ₂ ).

Declaring at the inauguration on October 2, Director General of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Maria van der Hoeven said the operation of the plant marked an important milestone in the history of development. CO2 recovery and storage technology , showing Canada's efforts to reduce this toxic gas.
