1. Prepare the printer
PhotoCool software is a very powerful print support program, so you need to equip yourself with a color printer for your work. If you want to use this software without a printer, the program will report an error 'no printer found connected to your computer'. In this case, do the following:
- You use the Start path - All Programs - Control Panel - Printers and Faxs .
- Click the Add Printer option in the Common Task toolbar. This is the process of creating a 'virtual' printer so you do not need to set the parameters completely correctly, just click Next a few times and then click Finish. Once completed you will have a 'virtual' printer to avoid errors for the program and even support Microsoft Excel programs in your computer.
2. Some basic photo editing functions
- You activate the program via shortcut in the Start path - All Programs - PhotoCool . Click on Click here to browse Images, in the window that appears select the folder containing the images and click OK.
- Double-click the image to edit, select Manual in Arrange Mode and then choose Edit - Edit Image to use the basic image editing function of this program.
- You notice the picture in the example is a picture with red-eye phenomenon - a common phenomenon when you use a digital device. To remove red eye, click the Red Eye icon on the main toolbar. You use the Zoom IN / OUT function to be able to zoom in / out the image, then use the mouse to move the square frame and the size of this square into the required position.
- Finally click OK , you will get a pretty complete picture without the red eye phenomenon.
- Next you can use Adjust Colorize , Level and Balance functions with a very simple operation to fine-tune the colors to make the picture more beautiful.
3. Prepare the printout
- You reuse the steps in steps 1 and 2 for the photos needed to enrich the print content.
- You can use the Edit - Edit Text tool to be able to write comments or comments for more attractive images.
- You can use Add Frame to Photo or Remove Frame from Photo tool to create / remove photo frames for your photos. The program also supports you to download a lot of very cool frames directly for your work.
- You use the mouse to change the size and position of the image to the most reasonable as well as save printing paper.
- Choose File - Page Setup to set the required parameters for the printout and select File - Print to start the printing process. The operations here are quite similar to those of regular Microsoft software that you are used to.
