Seaweed is a very nutritious vegetable

According to the proposal of Khanh Hoa province, the Institute will build two models of growing sea grapes in the tank in Region 4 Navy (Cam Ranh City), training techniques of planting, caring, preserving and processing grapes for 40 people.

The Institute also completed the guidelines on techniques for planting, caring, preserving and processing this species of seaweed in accordance with the ecological and socio-economic conditions of Truong Sa island district to grow popularly in the islands. The budget for this work is VND 700 million.

Seaweed (Caulerpa lentillifera) grows in the sea, is used as a very nutritious vegetable. This species of seaweed has been successfully imported and planted in some sea areas in Khanh Hoa in recent years.
