Sanyo introduced a rice cooker that could make bread from rice in November, but by the end of the month, it had to stop accepting orders because its factory capacity failed to meet. Thanks to double the capacity, Sanyo will be ready to take back orders in April.

The Tottori plant will be responsible for the final assembly of semi-finished products delivered from a factory in China. This factory in China is currently producing the full capacity of Gopan rice cooker.

With the new assembly line in Tottori, Sanyo will have two production facilities that are in great demand.
