In the Central region is a very special scene: The animals can be longer than 10km, followed by their predators. This park, along with Ngorongoro conservation area, is adjacent to it, forming the world's largest animal sanctuary.

In the middle there is a majestic view of the crater that has turned off Ngorongoro, at an altitude of 2,286m, a diameter of 15 to 20km. This forest has long been home to many generations of Masai livestock. Their herds share the grasslands and puddles with rich and diverse mammals.

Excavations at the fossil remains of Olduvai canyon to the west of Ngorongoro Crater have allowed the discovery of fossil fossils of human species and ancestors , especially Homo sapiens (clever people). hands), necessary for our understanding of the first steps of human evolution.
