Treatment of allergies in Bach Mai Hospital (Photo: SK & ĐS) - Doctor Nguyen Van Doan of the Department of Clinical Immunology Allergy said that within the past 1 month, the Faculty has received dozens of patients with allergies in the South hospitalized for treatment.

- Mrs. Khuc Thi Toan (66 years old in Van Lam, Hung Yen) has a rheumatism, taking the medicine of a doctor, after a good time. Recently, the disease recurred so she changed to another medicine. Due to her lack of support, she returned to take the old medicine. Only 3-4 days later, she began to develop rash and swelling of her limbs and face. Doctors diagnose male drug allergies.

- Mr. Vu Trung Thanh (43 years old, in Nam Dinh) suffers from a chronic asthma, hears someone tell him, he goes to a herbalist to buy Nam sharp medicine and take it with Western doctor. For 20 days, the whole body was rash, red rash, then every part of the skin was blistering, ulcerating, the whole body was in pain, the breath was weak.

- Mr. Nguyen Tien Luyen (22 years old, in Hai Duong) has an itchy allergy, so he asks people to buy herbal medicine. When he was near, he had a cold again and coughed so he could take more Western medicine to cure this condition. Two days later, on the skin blisters like burns, very painful.

According to Dr. Nguyen Van Doan, Nam's drugs are also capable of causing allergies. Usually, male allergy occurs late, after 10-20 days with severe clinical manifestations such as systemic red skin, erythema multiforme, atopic dermatitis, poisoning Syevens Johnson syndrome, Iyell. Common symptoms are erythema, fever, itching, pimples, blisters, and ulcers of natural cavities. Male allergy is often worse than other drugs because there are both internal injuries such as liver and kidney, which are very difficult to treat.

In recent years, the number of male drug allergies has been increasing, mostly due to indiscriminate use. Many patients only need to hear that a man has a drug or is in a hurry to buy and drink. This is very dangerous because for any disease, the doctor must also have a physical examination, even a test to find out the cause for medication loading. Physicians also have to monitor the course of treatment to adjust appropriate prescriptions. Any medication that has contraindications and interactions, taking many drugs at the same time arbitrarily increases the risk of allergies.

Many male medicines are impregnated with preservatives and this may be an allergen. That is not to mention for profit, many langs mixed new medicines to make drugs work quickly, in the long run will cause incalculable consequences. There are currently no studies on the interactions between male and Western drugs, but doctors recommend not taking two drugs at the same time if not indicated.
