Solar cell phone charger

This is the ordering product of Vodafone Telecom. Booster Brolly is equipped with 12 x 2 volt solar panels on the umbrella. They play the role of converting solar energy into electrical energy. The power is then stored in a battery attached to the umbrella handle.

The team at the University of London invented an umbrella called the Booster Brolly, which has a number of uses, such as charging the phone, lighting it and even making it possible for cell phones.

The user charges the phone or other electronic devices via the USB connector. According to Vodafone, a smartphone will be fully charged in three hours. In addition, excess energy will be used to light the led on the inside of the handle. Booster Brolly uses a high power antenna and a small signal transducer to pick up the radio waves from the nearest telephone base station.

Booster Brolly is only 800g. It will be released at the Isle of Wight Music Festival (UK) later this month.
