Moebius Syndrome rare syndrome caused Isaac
Hughes couldn't laugh like other kids.

Isaac, living with his parents at Mold (Wales), was found to have Moebius Syndrome when he was 8 months old. The syndrome makes the boy unable to send facial muscles and difficulties in hearing and seeing. Isaac could not reflex by blinking and could only run when he was 3 years old.

'Moebius Syndrome also affects Isaac's ability to speak and laugh, but my son is a happy and willful boy , ' said Ceridwen Hughes, Isaac's mother.

Moebius Syndrome occurs at birth and affects some cranial nerves, making people unable to send facial muscles. Some symptoms of this disease can be treated with appropriate surgery or therapy.

However, there have not been any studies conducted to determine the cause of Moebius Syndrome, which Isaac has. Therefore, there is no way to help people prevent this syndrome.
