Success in the production model of Ganoderma

Ms. Phung Thi Nga, Director of the Center for Applied Science and Technology of Vinh Phuc province, said the center has conducted a pilot study to build a model of Linh Chi mushroom production with a scale of 2000 bottles of mushroom seeds in Central Vietnam. center.

After one year of implementation, the center has so far implemented experiments and successfully produced Linh Chi mushroom to supply seed for the production units.

Ganoderma lucidum scientific name is Ganoderma lucidum . In Vietnam, there are 37 species of Ganoderma allocated in forests with many large-leaf trees, especially ironwood forests, so-called Lim mushrooms. Ganoderma has many different colors, green, red, yellow, black, white.

Ganoderma is a food with high nutritional and therapeutic value, it has a great effect in lowering blood pressure, treating cancer prevention.

Researchers confirm that water-soluble polysaccharicdes are abundant in reishi mushrooms that have anti-cancer, immune disorders and anti-hypertension effects.

Another important component is triterpenes , also known as ganoderic acids, which help to reduce allergies by inhibiting histamine release of the body, promoting oxygen absorption and increasing liver activity.

Raw materials for the production of Ganoderma are mainly dry and dry sawdust of softwood and hardwood (except wood with essential oils and toxins), waste bagasse of sugar mills. After processing the material, fungal spores will be transplanted into the material bag.

Fungal spores are released from mature fungal fruiting bodies, which are favorable conditions for spores to germinate into a single mycelium (primary fiber) of single fibers that combine together into multiple amphoteric fibers - secondary fibers grows deep inside and develops into a fibrous system, thereby continuing to develop into mushroom buds - mushroom fruiting bodies.

Mushroom bags after feeding the fibers for about 20-25 days, mushroom mycelium grows 1/2 bags of mushrooms. After 45-50 days of rearing, the fruiting body will be formed, the average yield is from 35kg dry / 1 ton of dry material, with the current market price reaching 350,000 VND / kg Lingzhi mushroom.

After more than 1 year of monitoring 2,000 bottles of mushroom seeds at the Center for Advanced Science and Technology application, the results showed that Lingzhi mushrooms grow well, fibers are uniform, not infected with other fungi and bacterial infections. .
