Da Nang City Science and Technology Council has just approved the topic "Completing the process of tissue culture and planting some flower varieties in Da Nang city."

The project is carried out by Da Nang Center for Biotechnology and Applied Science and Technology.

After two years of implementation, the center has created the seed by tissue culture method and completed the process of planting three main types of plants: chrysanthemum, orchids and lyrical flowers. These are flowers of high economic value, suitable for the tastes of Da Nang consumers. The Science and Technology Council has ranked quite well with the results of the topic.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Loan, the project manager, said that the center has now fully mastered the process of growing seedlings in the laboratory and the process of making seedlings in the garden for chrysanthemum and chrysanthemum, and at the same time improve the process of growing these plants in the external environment.

Most of the experimental plant varieties in the nursery, and when delivered to the people, are of good quality, adapted to natural conditions, leafy plants grow steadily, beautiful flowers, low mortality rates, clean pests . For Lake Phalaenopsis, the varieties from the buds also grow very well.

The Center has also completed the process of growing lychee flowers in pots from Dutch imported flower varieties, good flower quality in form as well as aroma, flower value is equivalent to those grown in Dalat.

The topic "Completing the process of tissue culture and planting a number of flower plants in Da Nang city" is evaluated to have a high applicability to help farmers ensure good seed sources and reasonable prices, clean diseases. , economic efficiency.

In the future, the center will produce industrial varieties of chrysanthemum and Phalaenopsis orchids to serve Da Nang farmers and neighboring provinces.
