Facing the prospect of all the ancient trees in the world being wiped out, scientists went on to clone one of the oldest plants.

It is estimated that 90% of the number of ancient trees on our planet has been cut down to meet the needs of living. This pushes the world to face the threat of environmental pollution and climate change.

Scientists must be on a level higher than 60m to get the specimen.

Therefore, scientists are trying to prevent the strong decline of ancient trees. They decided to clone the giant pine tree in the Siera Nevada mountain area, California, USA. This is a plant that can grow with a height of up to 76m, a diameter of 9m and a life span of more than 3,000 years.

To preserve this giant tree and to create a new ecosystem, scientists have stored genetic material from perennial plants. Plant expert Jacob Milarch and his colleagues must use specialized equipment to climb more than 60m.

Specimens were cultured in the laboratory.

They collected samples from the trunk, then moved to the lab in Michigan. There, they are nurtured until they are large enough to be grown around the world. Milarch replied to CBS News, saying the team had successfully cloned about 250,000 trees.

Reportedly, the nonprofit organization Archangel Ancient Tree Archive sponsored Milarch's group with the aim of preserving the environment for future generations."The project is not for us, it's for future generations. It's a precious gift to our children and grandchildren."

The most famous conifers are President.

The spare part, also known as the conifer , belongs to the pine family, with the highest height from 70-120m. The reason is that this species lives so long thanks to its special roots, hard like steel and spreading deep in the ground. Healthy roots help absorb many nutrients to nourish the trunk. Pine cones also contain many antibodies that can withstand insects, insects and extreme weather.

The most famous of these species is the President's coniferous tree in the Nevada snow mountain range, USA, one of the largest ancient sequoia trees in the world with a height of 74m, on a 20-storey building. Its life is estimated at about 3,200 years.
