The three red foxes fought fiercely to scramble for food they discovered in a steppe in Germany.
After a red fox found the food hidden in the bush, the other two foxes rushed in to scramble for food. The battle between them takes place within 5 minutes and eventually all of them win.
British photographer Duncan Usher, 59, was fortunate to record this scene when he disguised in the bush to observe the European red fox.
Red foxes are animals of the same name as dogs and wolves, but they often do not live in the herd. Instead, they often live and hunt alone or in small groups, like these three foxes. They are omnivores, including vegetables and meat.
They often eat scavengers, but also hunt using claws to attack prey. They often hunt small prey like mice, frogs, berries and eggs.
