The adaptability of these glasses allows the wearer to adjust the glasses according to their intended use with just a gentle swipe. If you want the device to function as a fashionable sunglasses, the wearer simply needs to swipe the right frame back. If you want to put the glasses into reading mode, just swipe back.

The lens can be changed from 0 to 2.5 diopters. The glasses also have a built-in battery that provides up to 48 hours of power.

'Deep Optics' proprietary technology dynamically corrects visual impairment using liquid lenses. Lenses function like human eyes, allowing the wearer to see what they want depending on their purpose. Deep Optics adds virtually no weight to the design so the glasses look more natural,' the Deep Optics website explains.

At $849 , the 32 Degrees North glasses don't seem cheap, but this is a useful device that helps users avoid having to carry two glasses with them.

With 32 Degrees North sunglasses, users can look towards the horizon, then can check messages easily. Admire the view, swipe and then continue reading.

'Mimicking the way the human eye works, 32 Degrees North glasses help wearers see everything they want,' claims Deep Optics.

Historically, the eyewear industry hasn't been the most innovative, but these adaptive glasses are a giant leap forward.
