British inventor Richard Browning plans to host a series of aerial races in 2019 involving various male and female athletes, according to Long Room. Browning wore suits and performances in the air at the Bentwaters in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England on October 4.
"My idea is an aerial race, in three-dimensional space with a 1,000 horsepower jet suit. It will be an amazing and extraordinary event, " Browning said. A set of records for speed (51 km / h), made up of 5 mini jet engines located in the arms and back. Browning's design is often compared to Iron Man in superhero movies.
Last year, Browning won the Guinness World Record for the fastest speed with jet engine and body control. The two attempts to set the first record lost because Browning did not create enough momentum. But at the third attempt, the inventor successfully accelerated.
The suit, which weighs about 27 kg, also incorporates electronic devices and 3D printing parts. Operated by jet fuel or diesel, the height limit of the suit is 3,658 meters. Browning opened up a sale at Selfridge's department store in London in July for $ 443,360.
The inventor first developed a garage suit with friends three years ago. Browning shared that he had long been interested in the idea of flying based on thrust. He took inspiration from his father, an aviation engineer.
