The hero is mentally upset after going to the moon

The astronauts once set foot on the moon did not receive the support needed to enter a new life after completing the great mission, the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) admitted.

On July 16, 1969, Apollo 11 left the launch pad to fly towards the moon with three astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Four days later Armstrong and Aldrin set foot on the surface of " Ms. Hang ", opening a new era in humanity's attempt to conquer the universe.

NASA constantly put on television the sight of three astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins preparing to train to conquer the moon. But this does not happen after they return to earth.

Dr. JD Polk, head of NASA's health department, said three astronauts and their relatives should have been psychologically assisted after the moon explorer mission ended on July 24. / 1969.

' I'm not sure what NASA did at the time, but it's clear that people don't care about astronauts like they do now ,' Polk said.

' These astronauts used to work hard and seriously with high enthusiasm. They were eager to go to the moon and wait a long time before they boarded Apollo 11. Therefore, after completing the great mission, they could not avoid the feeling of loss. There is nothing that can help them regain their motivation to work as before, 'Palinkas explained.

Buzz Aldrin, the second man who stepped out of the Eagle compartment to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969, had negative psychological manifestations due to the flight in space after the Apollo returned to Earth. . His mother committed suicide a few weeks before the ship took off due to the unbearable pressure created by his son's popularity.

After returning, three astronauts were quarantined for three weeks to ensure that they did not bring any pathogens from the moon. During that time Aldrin drank a lot of alcohol. That is the beginning of Aldrin's depression and alcoholism. He was immersed in alcohol and psychological crisis for 9 years.

Aldrin's second marriage ended shortly after he returned, although he and his wife lived together for 21 years. The third marriage also shattered after two years.

In the recently released memoir, the Magnificent Desolation, Aldrin wrote: ' The transition from the preparatory phase to a great mission to a later stage is not easy for me. What can an ordinary person do to face such a terrible psychological void? '.

Many other astronauts admitted they faced a lot of problems after setting foot on the moon.

Dave Scott, commander of Apollo 15, said: ' I remember when I returned to Houston after the flight to the moon, the neighbors handed a baked lamb leg to me. But then I didn't know where I was and what I was doing . '

Ken Mattingly, another member of the Apollo 15 crew, said: 'People who have experienced war often have the same experience. They have to follow a series of rules while in the battlefield and return home with a feeling of emptiness, psychological crisis. The same people who made flights into space. When they entered the spaceship they were heroes, and when they stepped out, they fell into a completely different world. '
