The house changed direction with the sun

An Australian couple has built a self-proactive home that follows the movement of the sun, like sunflowers.

With the desire to be able to see all around the house from the main door, the couple Luke and Debbie Everingham decided to design a rotating house, at will. "It's wonderful to live in a house where you can enjoy all the scenery around the house," Ms. Everingham said.

Therefore, the house has an octagonal shape, with the layout of the rooms facing the center of the house is the rotating pillar. The whole movement of the house is done by two electric motors, which are just a little bigger than a washing machine.

In order for the two electric motors to rotate the entire house, Mr. Everingham had to calculate, the entire volume of the house was about 20-30 tons, and each square meter was about a ton of tonnage.

The Everingham couple spent about £ 400,000 on design and construction. However, according to Mr. Everingham, having a rotating house will make your orientation a little more difficult.
