"Sarco does not use any restricted drugs, does not require special professional operations such as intravenous injections. Anyone who passes the entrance test can enter the machine and terminate. Life is legal, " Dr. Nitschke said.

Sarco consists of two main parts: reusable reels and a removable compartment for use as a coffin for patients. Both of these parts can be fabricated from and assembled anywhere. The manufacturing team said it would put the design of the machine online for free.

How to use Sarco machine is very simple. The user must first complete an online questionnaire to check for a 4-digit password.

After passing the cognitive test and obtaining the code, the patient entered the code to open Sarco's sealed compartment. After lying inside, users only need to close the lid and wait for liquid nitrogen to reduce the amount of oxygen, helping them to fall asleep gently.

The whole process will take place in just a few minutes, the patient leaves completely smooth. After finishing, the chamber can be removed and used as a coffin. The manufacturing team can produce another compartment with a 3D printer and then put it back on the base to use it for the next person.
