The Devil's Book, the largest medieval manuscript manuscript, is famous for the vivid Satanic image in the middle of the book.

Although the name means " Giant Book" in Latin, Codex Gigas is more commonly known as the "Devil's Book" , according to News.com.au. This leather-bound book, born in the 13th century, is the largest manuscript surviving from the Middle Ages, kept in the vault of the Swedish National Library.

At 89cm long and 49cm wide, the book is about the size of a small child and requires two people carrying 75kg of weight. Inside the pages of the book are the complete version of the Vulgate Bible , which is later considered the official Latin translation of the Catholic Church.

According to legend, the book is the work of a monk at the Benedictine monastery in the Czech Republic. This monk was condemned to live his life behind the walls for breaking the vows of spiritual practice.
